They empower SMEs, start-ups, and organizations by helping them secure funding through public grants, banks, crowdfunding platforms, and investment funds. As part of their mission, they are expanding their reach in the West African market and are seeking a dynamic Sales/Marketing Executive with a deep understanding of the region’s culture and market nuances to lead this initiative.
Role Overview:
As a Sales/Marketing Executive, you will drive the company’s growth by developing and implementing marketing strategies, identifying sales opportunities, and fostering client relationships. Fluency in French and a solid understanding of the West African market are essential for this role.
Location: Remote – West Africa Region (Central European Time – CET)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the West African market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to meet client needs.
- Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Design and execute marketing campaigns targeting SMEs and start-ups in the region.
- Utilize digital and traditional marketing channels to promote the company’s services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and
- customer preferences.
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for West African clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to clients about their funding applications and other services.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and loyalty.
- Cultural Engagement and Market Insights
- Leverage knowledge of West African culture and business practices to enhance client engagement.
- Adapt marketing materials and communication strategies to resonate with local audiences.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Meet and exceed sales and marketing targets, with performance-based bonuses available.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Provide detailed reports to the leadership team on market activities and results.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the West African market.
- Strong understanding of West African culture and business practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities in a remote setting.
